Amanda Peña
Digital Campaign Strategist
Amanda has been helping nonprofits raise money and change the world for five years.
She came to ACRONYM from Oxfam America, where she led the organization’s digital campaigning on a variety of issues that affect people living in poverty, from refugee resettlement to poultry workers’ rights to international arms sales. She also spearheaded Oxfam’s response to Trump’s refugee ban, which were the top performing actions and engagements in years. Before Oxfam, Amanda worked as a client manager at M+R, where she helped clients including Planned Parenthood, Union of Concerned Scientists, and Bread for the World to implement winning strategies for online fundraising and advocacy. Amanda is one for overly passionate opinions - especially about the Red Sox and true crime podcasts (@ her about Adnan Syed anytime). She is (newly) based in San Diego.
