After a successful cycle as our “in-house” agency at ACRONYM and PACRONYM and running programs for select clients like Advancing AZ, CAP Action Fund, EMILY’s List and Senate Majority PAC, digital media firm Lockwood Strategy is expanding to take on additional mission-aligned clients under new leadership and structure. 🎊 Our Chief Marketing Officer, Shannon Kowalczyk, will be Lockwood Strategy’s new CEO. Clay Schroers will be Principal, Client Services and Victor Nguyen-Long will be Principal, Creative.
Shannon, Clay, and Victor each bring extensive experience from campaigns, advocacy groups, and the private sector, and will lead a newly restructured team to provide Democratic campaigns, progressive organizations and other mission-aligned partners with the most innovative digital expertise and playbook in the industry. Beginning this month, Lockwood will be re-opening its doors to new clients to share what they’ve learned through running ACRONYM + PACRONYM’s many programs and make our winning playbook available to more progressive causes and Democratic candidates.
While ACRONYM will retain full ownership of the for-profit firm Lockwood Strategy in line with our values to center impact over profit incentives, its CEO Tara McGowan and several others have stepped away from Lockwood effective 1/1 to continue their focus on the next phase of ACRONYM’s programs and investments.
It has always been ACRONYM’s mission to build lasting infrastructure for the progressive movement. Incubating Lockwood and empowering it to grow and evolve under this new team, structure, and focus is one way we are continuing to deliver on that promise in 2021 and beyond. 💪
